Paul Levesque (HHH), WWE’s chief content officer, has given an update on Seth Rollins’ condition.
At the Evolution post-show press conference, HHH addressed the issue.
“Tomorrow night on Raw, we’re going to head down a new path. I’m sure somebody here will ask about Seth (Rollins). I’ll just say right now it is a little bit inconclusive but it doesn’t look good,” he said.
HHH confirmed that Rollins will have medical tests done and that he was at Evolution supporting his wife, WWE Intercontinental Champion, Becky Lynch.
“We’ll get an MRI and hope for the best, see where we can go with that,” said HHH.
Rollins was injured when he performed a moonsault off the ropes and appeared to land awkwardly in his match against LA Knight on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Rollins quickly made his way into a corner. As he spoke to Paul Heyman and the official he covered his face with his arm. A doctor came to the ring to check on Rollins.
Rollins can be seen saying to referee Jessika Carr and Paul Heyman…”It’s [unintelligible] [unintelligible] hurt…as he points to his knee.
Rollins finished the match allowing LA Knight to pin him. Rollins was supposed to win the match. Fan footage shows Rollins being helped to the back as he limps.
Word is that while backstage at Evolution he has a knee brace on and was on crutches.
