Stasiak uploaded a picture of Abdullah in his hospital bed, awake and smiling, stating that he is recovering well.

Abdullah the Butcher began his wrestling career in 1958 at the age of 17 and wrestled all over the world in a career that spanned seven decades, as he had his last match in 2010 for Global Championship Wrestling, where his match with Bull Buchanan ended in a no-contest.
