Now, Steve Stasiak, via his Book Pro Wrestlers Twitter account, the same account that reported Abdullah’s initial hospitalisation, has shared some positive news about the WWE Hall of Famer. Stasiak uploaded a picture of Abdullah in his hospital bed, awake and smiling, stating that he is recovering well.

Abdullah the Butcher began his wrestling career in 1958 at the age of 17 and wrestled all over the world in a career that spanned seven decades, as he had his last match in 2010 for Global Championship Wrestling, where his match with Bull Buchanan ended in a no-contest.
He enjoyed the best spells of his career working for WWC in Puerto Rico, and for All Japan Pro Wrestling in Japan, having his most memorable feuds with Bruiser Brody, Dory and Terry Funk, and Giant Baba.
