ESPN may have inadvertently fuelled speculation about a surprise Seth Rollins return at the Royal Rumble after his appearance on First Take, where his reaction to the question appeared to hint at more than he was willing to say. Although Rollins publicly stated he will not be medically cleared to compete, his history of swerves and WWE’s track record of shock returns have kept the door open to doubt. The situation is further complicated by the current direction of The Vision storyline, which appears to be stalling without its leader.
