A WWE Hall of Famer believes the company would get more value from using Tom Brady at an event other than WrestleMania.
Speaking on 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff was asked where WWE should feature the seven-time Super Bowl champion following Tom Brady’s recent comments that he wants to be involved in a WWE storyline. Brady previously told Cody Rhodes on his podcast that he was waiting to hear from WWE president Nick Khan and later got physical with Logan Paul during Fanatics Fest in New York.
Bischoff said he would avoid debuting Brady at WrestleMania, arguing that WWE’s biggest annual event is largely sold well before the show takes place.
“If I had to make a choice right now, I would lean into not using Tom for WrestleMania, using him for something other than WrestleMania.”
Instead, Bischoff suggested the company should focus on where Brady’s mainstream appeal could have the biggest commercial impact. He also said the company should first establish exactly what Brady wants from a potential wrestling role, noting that his situation differs significantly from someone like The Rock, who already has an established wrestling background.

Eric Bischoff pointed to September ESPN special, Wrestlepalooza, as a potential landing spot for Brady despite acknowledging the NFL legend’s broadcasting commitments. Drawing comparisons to WCW’s successful use of Dennis Rodman, Bischoff argued Brady’s profile and relationship with the NFL and ESPN could generate weeks of mainstream media attention and provide a significant boost to the event.
