GCW owner Brett Lauderdale has confirmed that the promotion has had talks with AEW about possibly leaving the Triller platform. Fightful reports that “Fightful spoke to GCW owner Brett Lauderdale, who acknowledged Triller’s issues, but said that so far they have been exempt from that and the relationship remains strong. However, Lauderdale did confirm that he has had discussions with All Elite Wrestling about possibly appearing on the MyAEW service in the future. There were no other details provided.” Various independent promotions have left the chaotic Triller platform and signed up with AEW’s MYAEW. AEW itself left Triller earlier this year and is now suing Triller for $5 million in payments. If GCW were to exit Triller there would only be a few smaller promotions left like Memphis, True Grit, Hoodslam and a few others.
AEW Dynamite scored 616,000 viewers and 0.10 rating in the key demos.
