It was the final night for B Block action in this year’s G1 Climax tournament.
Yuya Uemura defeated OSKAR and Callum Newman beat his United Empire stablemate Henare to advance to the B Block semi-finals.
Uemura and Newman will battle for top spot in B Block while Ryohei Oiwa and Yota Tsuji will do the same in A Block.
The oddest match of the night though was Gabe Kidd versus Ren Narita which was more of an all-out brawl than a wrestling match and amazingly enough, Narita was cheered on by the crowd as the face in this match.
Kidd throws a chair at Narita in the ring. Narita meets him on the floor where they throw hands. Kidd bounces Narita’s head off the apron.
The fight goes to the back where Narita smacks Kidd’s head off a sign. Narita hits Kidd with a steel chair across the back.
For once in a long time the crowd is cheering for Narita. Narita tries to suplex Kidd off a stage. Kidd runs Narita into a barricade. Narita throws Kidd into a row of chairs.
The bell hasn’t rung yet.
Kidd leaps off a riser and clotheslines Narita. They fight to the top of the arena. Narita slams Kidd into a wall a couple of times. Kidd takes someone’s umbrella and chokes out Narita with it. Narita reverses things on Kidd then starts biting his head.
Out of nowhere, Dick Togo bursts out of an entrance way. Togo chokes out Kidd with his garrote. He and Sho head down to ringside to fetch a table as Narita puts a chokehold on Kidd.
Kidd is laid down on the table but he gets back up clocking Sho in the face. Togo stops Kidd from powerbombing Narita through the table. Kidd blocks a Magic Killer punching Narita, He powerbombs…drops…Narita through the table but Narita also hits some arena seating as well.
Kidd drags Narita to the ring where the official finally rings the bell. Narita low-blows Kidd. Kidd kicks out of a Double Cross. Narita climbs to the top rope but Kidd cuts him off with a knee to the gut. Kidd lifts Narita into a piledriver. Kidd moves into the semi-finals and Narita is out of the tournament.

The Most Electrifying Wrestler Ever wins with some fancy roll-up. Yawn.

Uemura takes the big man down with a hurricanrana which he floats into an arm bar. Oskar submits and Uemura has moved into the semi-finals.

B Block – Callum Newman versus HENARE
Henare locks in a full nelson driving Newman to his knees. Newman gets back to his feet running Henare into the ropes. Henare hits his Hammer Head spear for a two count. Hidden Blade for another two count. Henare kicks out of Kiss the Crown twice. A third one and Make Way for the Prince pins Henare.
Winner: Callum Newman
