Former WWE Tag Team Champions could be nearing a return to television following several months away.
The Street Profits may be returning to WWE programming after a lengthy absence. Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford have not appeared on television since October, but Fightful Select reports that creative discussions have recently taken place regarding their return. While no timeframe has been confirmed, the expectation is that the SmackDown tag team will not remain off-screen for much longer.
The Street Profits Have Still Competed For WWE Despite TV Absence
Despite their absence from television, The Street Profits competed at several WWE NXT live events in late January, indicating they have remained active.
There has been no indication that either Dawkins or Ford is sidelined with injury. Their time away comes during a period when Ford’s wife, Bianca Belair, has also been out of action due to a finger injury.
The Street Profits last held the WWE Tag Team Championships before losing them in July. Their return could position them back in the title picture once they reappear on television.
