Former WWE star Summer Rae has sparked speculation about a possible return to the ring after sharing a photo on Instagram Stories of herself wearing her old wrestling gear. Rae, real name Danielle Moinet, has not competed in several years but has previously said she remains open to wrestling again. Although she has not announced an in-ring comeback, the latest post has fuelled speculation that she could be preparing to return.
Ric Flair has rejected comparisons between Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega’s AEW All In match and his legendary 1989 series with Ricky Steamboat. Ospreay defeated Omega in 34 minutes at Wembley Stadium to win the AEW World Championship, prompting some fans to call it the greatest match ever. Flair praised both wrestlers but argued his work with Steamboat was on another level because of the volume and longevity involved. He pointed to regularly wrestling hundreds of matches and lengthy time-limit draws, before telling Ospreay and Omega they should hope people are still discussing their matches 37 years later.
