A Former WWE star has broken their silence ahead of becoming a free agent following their release from the company earlier this year.
Santos Escobar was among the names released by WWE in April while sidelined with a torn triceps. His final match for the company came at AAA Rey de Reyes on March 14 before the injury forced him out of action.
With his non-compete clause set to expire in two days, Escobar took to social media to reflect on his run with the promotion, saying he has no regrets before sending a message to the company’s Chief Content Officer Triple H and President Nick Khan.
“2 days: WWE. I gave everything and that’s what was taken, no regrets. Grateful for the people, the places, and the circumstances I was placed in. I will continue to grow my legend and my mark on the industry. Watch me, Paul and Nick.”
Santos Escobar Is Set To Make His First Post-WWE Appearance
Santos Escobar is already scheduled for his first public appearance following his WWE departure. The former NXT Cruiserweight Champion has been announced for this week’s San Diego Comic-Con, where he will appear on Friday and Saturday.
There is currently no timetable for Escobar’s in-ring return as he continues to recover from the torn triceps injury that sidelined him before his release.
