Curtis Axel (Joseph Hennig), 46, has been arrested and faces multiple charges in Minnesota.
On May 17th, police state that Axel backed his vehicle into another car at a McDonald’s drive-thru.
The police report reads: “During the investigation, a McDonald’s employee reported that Hennig had been mumbling in the drive-thru before pulling forward, swearing at staff, and backing into another vehicle. He then allegedly opened his door and yelled at the female driver, calling her a “bitch” and a “pussy.” An inventory search of his vehicle prior to towing yielded a 750 mL open bottle of Phillips vodka on the front passenger-side floorboard.”
When police arrived, he refused to exit his vehicle. Axel had to be physically removed and handcuffed.
He refused to submit to a chemical test and directed profanities and slurs at the arresting officers.
Axel supposedly said: “I don’t give a s—t!” and “f–k you, you fa—t!”.
Axel has been charged with:
Traffic – DWI – Refuse to submit to chemical test; Breath or test refusal or failure (Gross Misdemeanor)
Traffic – DWI – Operate Motor Vehicle Under Influence of Alcohol (Misdemeanor)
Obstruct Legal Process – Interfere w/Peace Officer (Misdemeanor)
Traffic – Open bottle law; Possession; crime described (Misdemeanor)
Disorderly Conduct – Offensive/Abusive/Boisterous/Noisy/Obscene (Misdemeanor)
Axel was released pending a court date.
Axel is the son of WWE legend Curt Hennig. Axel also worked for WWE as part of Nexus, The Social Outcasts, The Miztourage and The B-Team. He won the WWE Intercontinental Championship once and the Raw Tag Team Championships twice, once with David Otunga and once with Bo Dallas.
