Former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose has addressed the possibility of returning to professional wrestling nearly four years after leaving WWE.
WWE released Rose after company officials reportedly determined that content posted on her personal subscription-based fan page fell outside the parameters of her contract.
Speaking on TMZ’s Inside the Ring, Rose said she doesn’t try to distance herself from her time with WWE and remains grateful for the opportunities the company provided.
“I feel like I embrace it,” Rose said. “The main, big question people ask is like, ‘Will you ever go back?’ And I always just say, ‘Never say never.’”
Rose added that she holds no bitterness over the circumstances surrounding her WWE departure and is happy with how her life has developed since leaving the company.
“I’m never bitter… because I just look at it like, I love my life right now. I’m married. I’m a mom. I’m able to have the financial freedom and independence and just be able to do what I want… They made their decision and I made mine pay off.”
Mandy Rose Open To WWE, AEW Or TNA Return
Mandy Rose said she would be willing to take a call from any wrestling promotion, specifically naming WWE, AEW and TNA as potential options.
However, the 36-year-old believes any potential return would require a different conversation about how she is presented, explaining that her priorities and mindset have changed during her time away from wrestling.
“I’ve been very successful these few years, especially being out of WWE, and I think I’m in a different headspace and a different mindset of what I want to do any how I want to portray the rest of my career, and also what I want to do to my body,” Rose said.
While Rose has not ruled out stepping back inside the ring, she revealed that she would also consider returning to wrestling in a non-wrestling role.
“A managerial position or anything like that, I would totally not be opposed to, either, as well. I wouldn’t be opposed to maybe getting back in the ring one day.”
Rose has not wrestled since her WWE departure, but her latest comments leave several possibilities open should she decide to return to the wrestling business.
