A former WWE Champion, who is currently out with an injury, is reportedly dealing with a “far worse” injury than expected.
Writing about the currently sidelined Bianca Belair in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer stated that the three-time Women’s Champion must be suffering from a far worse injury than just broken fingers, as she has been out of action since WrestleMania 41, only returning at Evolution on July 13, 2025, to act as a special guest referee in the Jade Cargill vs. Naomi No Holds Barred match. Meltzer wrote:
“She’s been out since WrestleMania with broken fingers, so that injury must have been far worse than usual broken fingers that people often work on and would usually be, even with surgery, only a couple of months.”
Did Former WWE Women’s Champion Bianca Belair Have Surgery To Fix Her Broken Fingers?
There have been no confirmed reports, but it was reported back in July that Bianca Belair could require surgery to fix the damage to her fingers and hand that she suffered during her WrestleMania 41 match, where she faced Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat.
Belair said in an interview that she broke one of her fingers in three different places, meaning that she couldn’t even bend it, and that if she tried to wrestle with the injury, her finger would break again.
