A former WWE title holder has predicted that former Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon will return to the company.
WWE star Logan Paul believes Vince McMahon may not be gone from WWE for good, suggesting the former chairman could one day return to television and eventually be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Speaking on his Impaulsive podcast during a wide-ranging conversation with rapper Lil Yachty, Paul was asked whether he thought McMahon would ever receive a Hall of Fame induction. His response was immediate and confident.
“Yeah, he’ll definitely get inducted,” Paul said.
Paul then went a step further, floating the idea that McMahon could even make another on-screen appearance in WWE someday, despite his controversial exit from the company.
“I also have a weird feeling he’ll come back,” Paul added. “I think he’d get an insane pop.”
Lil Yachty noted that he had personally hoped McMahon might appear during John Cena’s retirement storyline, picturing a moment where Vince emerged to embrace Cena on screen. Paul agreed that such a scene would have carried enormous emotional weight, given the history between McMahon and one of WWE’s most decorated stars.
While there has been no indication from WWE that McMahon will return in any capacity, Paul’s comments highlight how the former chairman remains a looming figure in the company’s history, and one whose presence would still generate a massive reaction if it ever happened.
When Did Vince McMahon Leave WWE?
Vince McMahon officially stepped away from WWE in January 2024, following the completion of the company’s merger with Endeavor that formed TKO Group Holdings. Shortly after the merger was finalised, McMahon resigned from his executive roles amid mounting legal and public scrutiny, marking the end of his day-to-day involvement with the company he had run for decades.
McMahon had previously retired in 2022 before returning to the WWE board in early 2023 to oversee the sale process. His second and final exit came just weeks after WWE officially became part of TKO, bringing to a close one of the most influential and controversial tenures in professional wrestling history.
