A former WWE Champion revealed that they were hospitalised last night.
Braun Strowman has revealed that he was hospitalised overnight after suffering a sudden infection in his right knee. The former WWE Universal Champion shared the update on Instagram, posting a photo from his hospital bed and asking fans for their support as he deals with the unexpected health issue.
“Well spent the night in the hospital with an infection that came out of nowhere in my right knee,” Strowman wrote. “So I could use some prayers and well wishes.”
The abrupt nature of the infection raised concern among fans, as knee infections can worsen quickly without treatment and often require intravenous antibiotics and rest. The hospital visit comes just weeks after another health scare for the former WWE Superstar. On January 14, Strowman was involved in a car accident that left him with a sore neck. Although he appeared to be recovering from that incident, this latest setback adds to what has already been a difficult start to the year.
