A former WWE Champion may be hanging up the boots for good.
Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Aliyah may be stepping away from professional wrestling after revealing she is selling all of her ring gear and wrestling-related items. The former WWE star, real name Nhooph Al-Areebi, recently posted on Passes.com that she is parting with everything connected to her wrestling career.
“Getting rid of everything wrestling-related, action figures, gear, boots, you name it. DM me if you’re looking for anything specific,” she wrote.
The 31-year-old from Ontario joined WWE in 2015 after appearing on Tough Enough. She debuted on the main roster in 2021 as part of a group alongside Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler before moving into the women’s division. She was released by the company in 2023 while sidelined with an injury during a round of company cuts.
Since leaving WWE, Aliyah has kept a low profile in the ring. Her last known match took place in February 2025 for Destiny Wrestling in Ontario. While she has not formally announced her retirement, the decision to sell off her gear has fuelled speculation that she may be closing the door on her wrestling career.
When Did Aliyah Win The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship?
Aliyah won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Raquel Rodriguez, defeating Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky in the Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament final on the August 29, 2022, episode of Raw. Aliyah and Rodriguez won their semi-final match on the August 26 episode of SmackDown, defeating Natalya and Sonya Deville.
The team only held the belts for just 14 days, losing them in their first defence in a rematch against Kai and Sky on the September 12 episode of Raw.
