A former TNA Champion has revealed that they are dealing with an injury, but will not be out of action.
Former TNA X Division Champion Mustafa Ali was in action last night at the German Wrestling Federation’s Legacy: 30 Jahre Berlin Wrestling event, where he was defeated by Peter Tihanyi in a singles match.
It was reported that Ali announced during the show that he is dealing with an injury, but in a post he made on Twitter, Ali stated that while he is definitely injured, he will not be missing any bookings and will continue to work through his injury and will be getting extensive rehab to help him recover.
Mustafa Ali’s TNA Run
Mustafa Ali has been working with TNA since he was released from WWE in 2023, joining the company in January 2024. Ali has made an Impact with TNA, capturing the X Division Title at No Surrender in his in-ring debut for the promotion, and also challenged for the World Title on the August 1 episode of Impact. Despite his successful run, he left the company the same day that he challenged for the World Title.
Ali rejoined on the January 23, 2025, episode of Impact and announced that he’d signed a contract, and he would go on to form a stable with Tasha Steelz, Jason Hotch, and John Skyler called “Order 4” and feuded with Mike Santana, which ended after Santana defeated Ali in a Falls Count Anywhere match at Rebellion, a match that was very well received by fans and critics, garnering a four and a half star rating from Dave Meltzer.
He has continued to wrestle sporadically for TNA throughout 2025, and even challenged Ethan Page for his NXT North American Title at the Showdown event earlier this month, another match that was highly praised.
