A former MLW World Champion has reportedly left the promotion.
Former MLW World Champion Mads Krule Krügger has reportedly departed Major League Wrestling. According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Krügger is no longer with the company following his latest stint in MLW under the masked Mads Krule Krügger persona.
The veteran wrestler originally joined MLW in 2019 before exiting the promotion in February 2020. He later returned in November 2020 as the darker Krügger character and remained with the company until his release in 2023.
Krügger made another comeback to MLW in January 2024, beginning what became his second return run with the promotion. That latest run has now reportedly come to an end.
Mads Krule Krügger Found Success In MLW
Over the years, the 40-year-old has competed across multiple wrestling promotions under several different names and gimmicks. However, he became most closely associated with MLW through the Mads Krule Krügger character, eventually capturing the Major League Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship during his time with the company.
There has been no official statement from either side regarding the reported departure, and it remains unclear whether this latest exit will be permanent.
