Ricochet has apologized for the cruel comment he made to a wrestling fan on X.
Yesterday, Sandi T., who suffers from the debilitating disease Multiple Sclerosis, posted on X about Ricochet: “His acting hasn’t improved.”
Ricochet responded with: “I’m glad you got MS.”
That comment touched off a firestorm of condemnation many asking for AEW and Tony Khan to address the situation.
Ricochet has since posted: “I took out my hatred for the IWC on Sandi, and inadvertently others who are effected by MS. She didnt deserve it and for that, I sincerely apologize. Moving forward I’ll do better.”

The reaction to his apology has also generated heat:
You were still reposting things defending your actions and saying you were justified doing so just a couple hours ago. You’re not sorry, you got the call from upstairs. pic.twitter.com/025g5DbNqC

Nah, screw that nonsense. The only reason you’re issuing an apology is because you were told to. You didn’t expect the heat you got for that comment and now have to play damage control. Save the fake apology. We don’t believe you are being sincere in the slightest.

But you reposted 2 people defending your tweet?
And you had to wait a day to apologize?
Guessing the boss made a call
Pathetic.

Hey man I was paralyzed 4 years ago and it was the craziest experience of my life most terrifying experience of my life if you haven’t been there you’ll never know. It changed the way I see the world. I wish healing for you in a genuine way man. God bless

Nope sorry, the apology is null and void since before posting the apology you double downed on what you said.
Not getting out of this one that easy. pic.twitter.com/2CoQDomBLI

Following the heated reaction to his original comment, Ricochet, whether the persona, the person, or both, continued to double down and fan the flames stating:
“Its soooo hilarious that the amount of little bitches who has tweeted and wished harm on me, who has wished even death, said some of the most VILE things to me AND my wife. People who try and make fun of me EVERYDAY. But those same little bitches can’t take it when I do it back to people. F—–g pussies, everywhere.”
He also wrote that he “loved the haters”, that attacking people on social media “entertains” him and that he wasn’t going to delete the post.
Since the incident, Sandi T. has since made her account “protected” on X, meaning only her followers not the general public can read her comments at present.
