WWE would not be where it is today without the larger-than-life characters that compete in the ring … and few, if any, loomed larger than Terry “Hulk Hogan” Bollea.

Hulk Hogan was a true legend. I was fortunate to work with him a couple of times, including this memorable one. It was easy to do a Hulkster impersonation when, like millions of guys my age, I’d practiced it in the mirror a thousand times growing up. #RIPHULKHOGANhttps://t.co/8iRfUDy0D8pic.twitter.com/h7Un65D7KD

When I nearly lost my dad 8 years ago, one of the few people who was there for all of it was Hulk Hogan.
My heart breaks for Nick and Brooke.

When I was a kid I ate my vitamins, said my prayers because Hulk Hogan told me to. He was someone I looked up to; a larger-than-life presence I copied constantly growing up. The voice, flexing, charisma, he made you want to be bold, loud, confident.
RIP, Hulk Hogan. pic.twitter.com/XrGgb6GAGz— The Miz (@mikethemiz) July 24, 2025
RIP Hulk Hogan – the most iconic wrestler in history, a wonderful character, and in person, a far gentler, charming, intelligent man far removed from his snarling beast ring (and Rocky movie!) persona. Sad news. pic.twitter.com/z3lT5gJgFk

I’ll never forget being able to share the ring with someone who helped shaped my childhood. My thoughts and prayers go out to Brooke, Nick and the entire Bollea family. #OnlyLove#RIPHulkHogan#Hulk#Hogan#NWO#WWF#WWE#WCW#American#AmericanMade#America#RIPOzzypic.twitter.com/dTWZY73Q30

I grew up in Chicagoland watching the AWA pre-cable via tin-foiled rabbit ears. The Incredible Hulk Hogan vs. the World Champion Nick Bockwinkel with Bobby Heenan.
Original Hulk-a-Mania. Magic. I loved it.
Fast forward a million years.

I may not like his political views. I do respect him in the wrestling world. Remember my older brother showing me wrestling back in the 80’s and also showing me Rocky 3. And how I was a big fan of his at that time. R.I.P. Hulk Hogan 😞. #hulkhogan#hulkamaniapic.twitter.com/QcqDqzIi4F

I stayed up to watch WrestleMania 18 with a close friend. You felt the sheer electricity of the arena, the atmosphere. Hogan had a star power and larger than life persona that very few could match. His bout with The Rock is arguably the greatest match of all-time. R.I.P. Hulk 🕊️ pic.twitter.com/rW8hO303GU

We practically used to look forward to Saturday 2 pm on NTA because of Hulk Hogan. It was like waiting for your favourite EPL team to play a big game on Saturday. That was how it was with Hulk back then. He set the standard as the face of wrestling.

Damn, Brother. Love him or hate him he made professional wrestling what it is today. One of the
