Fanatics and WWE are auctioning off the mask El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) wore at Noche de Los Grandes for charity.
El Grande Americano defeated Chad Gable to retain the name, mask and persona in much lauded mask-versus-mask match at the event.
The posting on the auction page on the Fanatics site states: “100% of the net proceeds from this auction will be donated by WWE directly to the Dr. Sonrisas Foundation, supporting children facing life-threatening health conditions. The Dr. Sonrisas is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to changing the lives of children suffering from critical illnesses by fulfilling their greatest dreams and bringing them joy, hope, and emotional support during their bravest battles.”
The mask itself has been authenticated through FanSecure technology.
As of the posting of this article there have been 34 bids with $3040.00 being the highest thus far.
