It appears that former WWE superstar Veer Mahan has embarked on a new chapter in his life.
A video online showed someone who appeared to be Mahan (Rinku Singh) dressed as a Hindu monk.
Fans wondered if the former professional baseball player had renounced his worldly life, embrace celibacy and dedicated himself to spiritual pursuits like meditation, study and service.
It appears that he has. In YouTube video. Veer can be seen meeting with Maharaj ji, a spiritual leader, who tells him that without raising himself up spiritually, all the fame and fortune in life means nothing, is hollow.
“It would be smart to now pursue spiritual goals as you have attained material success…Try to gain success in the spiritual world. That would be valuable,” he advises mentioning that Mahan wants to “course correct” his life and that decision is a good one.
Mahan tells Maharaj ji that he wishes to give up his material life and follow a spiritual path.
In NXT, Mahan was part of the Indus Sher tag team managed by Malcolm Bivens (Stokely Hathaway). Indus Sher wrestled at the Superstar Spectacle which targeted the Indian WWE market. They would later move to the main roster with Jinder Mahal as their manager. Mahan had a short solo run on the main roster before Indus Sher was released by the WWE.
