Dustin Rhodes has provided an update on his recovery and when we might see “The Natural” back in an AEW ring.
Dustin Rhodes took to Twitter yesterday to provide an update on his recovery from his double-knee replacement surgery. In his update, he stated that he is just short of being three months removed from his surgery, and that he is still in a considerable amount of pain and due to being 56 years old, his body is taking longer to recover than someone younger would.
Despite him still being in quite a lot of pain, Rhodes said that he is on track for his recovery for someone of his age and that his athletic background and strong work ethic are helping him in his recovery.
When Could Dustin Rhodes Be Back In AEW?
Dustin Rhodes said that he is hopeful of getting back into an AEW ring by late February to early March 2026, stating that it will be “the greatest comeback of anyone in their 50s.”
Rhodes last competed in AEW on the July 31 episode of Collision, where he lost the TNT Championship to Kyle Fletcher in a Chicago Street Fight.
