Dominik Mysterio says he would be willing to put his hair on the line in a potential WrestleMania 42 rematch with Penta.
Last week on WWE Raw, Dominik Mysterio lost the Intercontinental Championship to Penta in an upset result after Finn Balor refused to assist him from ringside. The following week, Mysterio and the rest of The Judgment Day turned on Balor, attacking him and removing him from the group.
Appearing on Reality of Wretling’s The Collection podcast, Mysterio said he wants another shot at the championship and suggested a high-stakes stipulation for a possible WrestleMania match.
“I want my IC Championship back. I don’t care what I have to do,” Mysterio said. “I know Penta’s an ugly dude, so I’m willing to put my hair on the line against his mask and that IC Championship if he’s willing to.”
Mysterio even joked about raising the stakes further.
“Hell, I’ll even put up my mustache, whatever it takes to get my IC Title back,” he added.
Dominik Mysterio Still Blames Finn Balor For His IC Title Loss To Penta
Dominik Mysterio argued that he had already defeated Penta multiple times and blamed his recent loss on Balor’s refusal to help him during the match.
“I beat this dude probably seven or eight times already,” he said. “He got lucky on this last one because of Finn Balor.”
Mysterio is also currently the AAA Mega Champion and said he hopes to enter WrestleMania holding both titles.
“I’d like to walk in as a double champion or walk out as a double champion at WrestleMania,” he said.
Before that, Mysterio is scheduled to defend the AAA Mega Championship at AAA’s Rey de Reyes event this weekend.
