Dolph Ziggler made his return to WWE on last night’s episode of Raw.
Last night on Raw, Solo Sikoa was set to face a mystery opponent in the first round of the “Last Time is Now” tournament to determine who will face John Cena in his retirement match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13. After Sikoa made his entrance, the camera turned towards the entrance ramp to see who the mystery opponent could be, and then, Dolph Ziggler’s music hit.
Ziggler has not been seen in WWE since he was released on September 21, 2023, after spending 19 years with the company, and although he received a massive fan reaction, he was unable to defeat Sikoa and advance in the tournament.
Ziggler has been competing under his shortened real name of Nic Nemeth in TNA since 2024 and has captured the TNA World Championship and the TNA World Tag Team Championship alongside his brother, Ryan Nemeth, during his tenure.
Besides Dolph Ziggler, Who Else Made A Surprise WWE Return In The “Last Time Is Now” Tournament?
Other than Dolph Ziggler, Zack Ryder, who has been wrestling under his real name of Matt Cardona, returned to WWE as part of the “Last Time is Now” tournament on last Friday’s episode of SmackDown as LA Knight‘s mystery opponent.
Cardona is also with TNA currently, and like Ziggler, he was unable to advance in the tournament, losing to Knight.
