Tag team wrestling legend Dennis Condrey has passed away. He was 74.
Condrey was one of the original members of the Midnight Express tag team along with Randy Rose, Norvell Austin and then Bobby Eaton from 1980 to 1987.
In 1983, Jim Cornette was introduced as their manager in Mid-South Wrestling.
Condrey would end up leaving the promotion and The Midnight Express shortly after facing The Road Warriors in that infamous scaffold match at Starrcade ’86.
Condrey would move to the AWA and team with Rose and Paul E. Dangerously as The Original Midnight Express.
The Midnight Express of Stan Lane, Bobby Eaton and Jim Cornette would feud with Condrey, Rose and Dangerously for the right to the name.
Later on in his career, he would work with the WWE as a trainer and coach.
