In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer posted his star ratings for WrestleMania 42 Night One. Night One of Mania wasn’t well received by fans, as many thought the match quality was lacking, and the amount of advertisements throughout the show made it feel like a regular WWE show rather than the biggest wrestling show of the year.
Meltzer gave the show an average rating of just under three stars, but he did not rate one of the seven matches on the card.
