Dave Meltzer has released his star ratings and review for the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer has posted his star ratings for the 2026 Royal Rumble, and despite many critics panning this year’s Rumble as one of the weakest in recent history, Meltzer gave the show an overall rating of 3.69 stars with his ratings of the four matches.
Only one of the four matches got a rating of over four stars from Meltzer, with the rest receiving over three stars.

- Liv Morgan Won The Women’s Royal Rumble Match – ***1/2
- Career-Threatening Match: Gunther defeated AJ Styles – ****1/4
- Undisputed WWE Title Match: Drew McIntyre (c) defeated Sami Zayn – ***1/4
- Roman Reigns Won The Men’s Royal Rumble Match – ***3/4
