It has been announced that Darby Allin is in the hospital following his recent AEW Dynamite match.
Commentator Excalibur announced it on last night’s episode of Dynamite that Darby Allin was taken to the hospital following his match on last week’s episode against Kevin Knight in a 2025 Continental Classic Gold League match.
Excalibur stated that Allin required medical treatment after the match and aired footage of Allin lying on a stretcher in a hospital room while wearing a neck brace. Excalibur added that Allin has not been cleared to compete or travel, although no specific details regarding the nature of the injury were provided. It is currently unknown how this will affect Allin’s status in the ongoing Continental Classic.
How Long Has Darby Allin Been With AEW?
Allin signed with AEW in April 2019 and made his in-ring debut at Fyter Fest on 29 June of that year, wrestling Cody Rhodes to a time limit draw. He quickly rose through the ranks and has since become one of the company’s most recognisable stars.
During his run, Allin has captured the AEW World Tag Team Championship alongside Sting in 2024 and has held the TNT Championship on two occasions, first in 2020 and again in 2023. His combined 214 days as TNT Champion remain the most of any wrestler to date.
