Danhausen’s WrestleMania weekend proved to be a major success beyond the ring, generating significant interest from fans and strong merchandise sales.
A report from WrestleVotes Radio via Fightful Select indicates that Fanatics was highly impressed with the demand for Danhausen-related merchandise during WrestleMania 42 weekend, with multiple restocks required to keep up with sales.
The strong response is expected to lead to further opportunities, with Danhausen likely to be featured at Fanatics Fest, set to take place in New York City in July.
Danhausen Debuted In WWE At Elimination Chamber
Danhausen first appeared in WWE earlier this year at Elimination Chamber before featuring in a WrestleMania segment. Throughout the weekend, his presence was heavily promoted, including displays at WWE World, a dedicated meet-and-greet area and themed attractions tied to his character.
“I’ve only been here for about two months, and look at the impact,” Danhausen said ahead of WrestleMania. “He’s got a merchandise stand at WrestleMania… his face is on everything.”
The early success suggests WWE’s investment in the “Very Nice, Very Evil” persona is already paying off, with Danhausen quickly establishing himself as a popular act with fans.
