In an interview with SOTO619 , Jeff Cobb, who has returned to NJPW, spoke about wearing facepaint in WWE.
“The paint was truly different. Because I was told you’re going to wear the paint like you did in Japan and I never wore paint in Japan. I think they got me confused with somebody else but yeah, paint was hard because I had to find paint. The paint was definitely the hardest just for the fact that with the mask I could put it on. I couldn’t breathe but I could put it on and then when I’m done, I could take it off but the paint took forever to get off. I had to use the wipes. Then, I found out the wipes that I used got recalled.”

WWE Hall of Famer Michael Hayes has revealed that he requires further surgery after undergoing several major operations in recent years. Speaking on What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon, Hayes explained that he underwent a hip replacement in 2020, followed by additional replacement surgeries in 2022 and 2024. Expressing frustration with the repeated procedures and lengthy recovery periods, Hayes admitted, “I’m so sick of surgeries,” adding that he was particularly tired of the recoveries.
He also revealed that he avoided taking prescribed painkillers, including oxycodone, following his previous operations because he has never been comfortable taking pills. When McMahon asked whether more surgery was necessary, Hayes confirmed that one of his shoulders was in particularly poor condition, stating:
“Oh, I do. Yeah, this shoulder’s really bad.”
