The WWE 2K26 cover star has been revealed.
CM Punk is your WWE 2K26 cover star.
The news was revealed as part of the Royal Rumble Kickoff Show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
CM Punk responded to the reveal by saying: “It is my pleasure and honor. As a little kid I could only dream of being on the cover of a video game and now I’m joining some esteemed dignitaries who have been on the cover twice.”
Punk was the cover star for WWE ’13 back in 2012.
It was also revealed that Punk will be part of the countdown panel on Saturday before the Royal Rumble.
WWE and 2K have already confirmed the Attitude Era Edition, Monday Night War and Triple H covers.
WWE 2K26 has been rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) ahead of its release and in that rating there is no mention of PS4 or Xbox One. Therefore, the game will not be released for those systems. It has been rated only for the PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S.
WWE 2K26 will be released on March 13 and can be pre-ordered today.
More information will be revealed later today including the official trailer which is said to debut during today’s Smackdown broadcast. As it is being broadcast in Saudi Arabia, Smackdown will air at 12:00 ET in North America.
