CM Punk has shared his opinion on who the two best current WWE Superstars are, making some surprising picks.
CM Punk was the subject of the latest WWE Vlog posted on the company’s YouTube channel, and the vlog covered CM Punk’s return to Japan as part of a recent tour WWE did of Japan of Australia earlier in October. During the vlog, Punk stated which two of WWE’s current stars he thinks are the best wrestlers and named none other than Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley. Punk said:
“Iyo Sky is consistently, I think, the best wrestler that we have. Rhea is probably a close second, but you talk about a superstar. And I don’t think it’s a secret that I was one of Rhea’s favorites when she was a kid growing up, and it’s kind of no different than the fan that says I’m sober because of you, or I waited 19 years to see you. Like, I just want to give back because I’m so full of gratitude. Those two are the future.”
Sky and Ripley came out to the ring after Punk’s match against Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship ended in a DQ. At the beginning of the vlog, Ripley can be seen distracting Mysterio while Sky gets behind him on her hands and knees. Ripley then pushes Mysterio, who trips over the prone Sky, and then Punk picks up Mysterio to deliver a GTS and then Ripley’s finisher, the Riptide.
CM Punk Tonight On Raw
CM Punk will be on tonight’s episode of Raw as he is set to have a face-to-face with Jey Uso ahead of their match at the November 1 Saturday Night’s Main Event for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship. The title was vacated by Seth Rollins after he suffered a serious shoulder injury during his match with Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel earlier this month. Rollins’ injury was so severe that he required surgery to repair it and is expected to be out the rest of this year, and likely will miss the beginning of next year, including WrestleMania.
