CM Punk has given his thoughts on featuring in the WWE 2K26 Showcase mode.
As well as being the cover star, CM Punk is the focus of the WWE 2K26 Showcase mode. The Showcase will feature matches from throughout Punk’s career, as well as fantasy match-ups that never took place.
Promoting the game at WWE 2K26 Creator Fest, Punk told the Xbox podcast that he thinks the Showcase is “neat” and that he believes the fantasy matches will hook the fans.
“Yeah, I think it’s neat. I think it’s one of the better aspects of the game because you get, you not only get to relive some of the biggest matches that actually happen there’s like the big ‘What if?,’ stuff.
“There’s a ‘What if I wrestled Eddie Guerrero in WWE?,’ and stuff like that, and I think, you know, because it is a video game and it is this fantastical circus pro wrestling, like the fantasy aspect of things, I think is a big hook for the fans. I think that’s a big drawing factor to the game.”
As well as Eddie Guerrero, gamers will be able to experience CM Punk taking on ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, and teaming up with AJ Lee to face another WWE power couple in The Miz and Maryse.
