American WWE fans will be seeing PLEs leave Peacock sooner than they think.
Wrestling Observer has confirmed that the WWE’s PLE contract with Peacock ends with Clash in Paris. That show airs on August 31st.
Going forward, all WWE PLEs will be on ESPN’s new app priced at $29.99 per month or $299.99 per year or free via some cable subscriptions.
The deal is for five years and begins with WWE’s yet unnamed September 20th show many are saying will be Wrestlepalooza. The big matches on that show are rumoured to be John Cena versus Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes versus Drew McIntyre.
ESPN is paying WWE $325 million per year for five years to air the PLEs.
