Chris Jericho has shared his thoughts on how he thinks TNA looked more like the number two wrestling promotion over AEW when comparing recent shows.
Speaking on a recent episode of his podcast, Talk is Jericho, Chris Jericho had high praise for TNA’s recent pay-per-view, Bound For Glory, stating that the crowd and presentation were on par with a WWE event. Jericho said:
“That crowd looked huge. It looked huge. It was like a WWE-level crowd. The place was packed.”
Jericho then compared the Bound For Glory presentation to recent episodes of Dynamite that took place at the old ECW Arena, and he did not speak kindly to the promotion he is currently signed with. Jericho said:
“I was watching this and, not saying anything out of school here, but comparing it to watching Dynamite when they were at the ECW Arena, which looked like a Tony Condello taping, sorry, it did — TNA looked like the second biggest company in the world, and that was amazing. And the presentation was amazing.”
When Was Chris Jericho Last Seen In AEW?
Chris Jericho has not been seen on AEW TV since the April 9 episode of Dynamite, where he disbanded his Learning Tree faction after he blamed losing his Ring of Honor World Championship at Dynasty to Bandido on his stablemates Big Bill and Bryan Keith, and said that he thought it would be best if he left AEW until both Bill and Keith made a change.
Since his last AEW appearance, there have been rumours circulating that Jericho may be heading to WWE when his AEW deal is up.
