Chelsea Green is facing a longer absence from WWE after revealing she has undergone a heart procedure.
Chelsea Green shared the update on Instagram, posting a photo from her hospital bed alongside her husband Matt Cardona. She confirmed that doctors had diagnosed her with supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), a condition causing an irregular and rapid heartbeat, after dealing with symptoms for a decade.
“After 10 years, doctors finally caught my SVT and I was able to get a heart procedure done! Three hours later and I’m on the mend,” Green wrote.
Chelsea Green Has Been Out Of Action Whilst Recovering From An Ankle Injury
The update comes while Chelsea Green has already been sidelined since February, when she competed in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match involving Tiffany Stratton and Lash Legend. She had been recovering from an ankle injury sustained during that period, with her return previously expected sooner.
In recent weeks, Green had appeared on television in a wheelchair, often accompanied by Alba Fyre. Following Fyre’s release, Green briefly returned to action on SmackDown, appearing without assistance and teasing a potential alliance with Stratton. There is currently no confirmed timeline for Green’s in-ring return as she continues her recovery.
