Chelsea Green has shared a positive recovery update just one week after undergoing a heart procedure.
Chelsea Green revealed on social media that she is officially off bed rest following surgery on May 4 to correct supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), a condition involving an abnormally fast heartbeat originating in the upper chambers of the heart.
“1 week post op – off bed rest!” Green wrote on social media. “One thing about me: sitting still is my nightmare. Thank you to everyone who called, texted, dm’d, etc. I felt very, very loved this week.”
Alongside the post, Green shared photos of flower arrangements sent to her during recovery, including one from the team behind the upcoming WWE: Unreal docuseries.
Reports previously revealed that Green had been dealing with the heart issue for some time before it was officially diagnosed following an episode around WrestleMania 42. During the incident, Green’s heart rate reportedly climbed to 228 beats per minute for nearly 15 minutes.
Chelsea Green Still Appeared On WWE TV Despite Being On Bed Rest Post Surgery
Despite being sidelined, Chelsea Green still appeared in a pre-recorded social media segment aired during last Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown. In the clip, Green joked about unsuccessfully trying to contact Tiffany Stratton and apologised for missing Stratton’s Women’s United States Championship defence against Kiana James.
