Chelsea Green sure loves her ring-worn gear, and it can be very valuable as well.
In an interview with Worth Point, Green spoke about how much her ring attire means to her.
“I think my favourite collection that I have has to be my gear because if you know me, you know that I love, love, love my gear. I put so much time and effort and thought into what I wear out there. So I have collected in the last eleven years, all the gear that has mattered to me. The rest I’m okay selling. I’m okay with somebody else owning those and using those in their collection. I think that’s also really special. For me, I want to make sure that when my kids think of, you know, a really special moment in my career that they can see and feel and touch what I wore,” she said.
Worth Point reports that her “outfits have exceeded $2,000 in online marketplace sales”.
The one outfit she wished she still had was very sentimental for her.
“I wasn’t able to keep my Lucha Underground outfit, which I think is an interesting fact to note because that was Lucha Underground was actually almost like a movie set. So we were given the outfits and then they took it back at the end of the day. When I left Lucha Underground, they kept my gear. That is one regret that I think I’ll forever have is not fighting harder for the Reclusa gear that I wore during my Pentagon match,” she said.
