A title has been announced to be on the line at the upcoming WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 24.
The Women’s Tag Team Championship match is now confirmed for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 24, as Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez will challenge Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. The announcement followed Raw in Düsseldorf, where Morgan and Perez defeated The Kabuki Warriors and the team of Bayley and Lyra Valkyria to become the new number one contenders. The finish came when Morgan blind-tagged herself in, caught Kairi Sane unaware, and hit Oblivion for the pin.
Asuka and Sane were looking for an immediate return match after losing the titles last week, while Bayley and Valkyria staked their own claim following recent victories. Instead, Judgment Day now holds the shot.
Saturday Night’s Main Event takes place from Montreal’s Bell Centre, and airs live on Peacock, one week before the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia. It marks the first SNME since John Cena’s retirement at the December edition.
