Carlos Silva has addressed the future of TNA’s partnership with WWE.
On December 2nd, after months of speculation, TNA announced it had secured a multi-year TV deal with AMC. The deal will see Impact airing on Thursday nights from 9-11 pm ET on the network starting on January 15th. The show will also be featured on the AMC+ streaming platform.
News of the deal sparked rumours that WWE’s partnership with TNA would be coming to an end as part of a “ripple effect.” However, this was quickly debunked, with PWInsider reporting that sources from both promotions were “adamant” that the partnership would continue. On the WWE side, it was noted that the press release announcing the deal made reference to NXT.
Later in the day, TNA President Carlos Silva also addressed the speculation on Busted Open Radio. After confirming that the partnership with WWE would continue to grow into 2026, he credited the promotion with helping them secure the deal with AMC.
“Absolutely. It’s a big part of helping us get this deal. It’s a big part of now being able to give back a little and provide a big platform for some of those superstars as well. The storylines and things we’re doing together, they are going to continue to grow into 2026.”
Carlos Silva “Super Excited” To Bring TNA To AMC
In the press release announcing the deal with AMC, Carlos Silva spoke of his excitement to bring TNA to the network, and claimed the promotion is the “hottest it’s ever been” as it heads into 2026.
“We are super excited to bring the in-ring excitement, energy and drama of TNA Wrestling to AMC. TNA Wrestling heads into 2026 the hottest it has ever been – with intense rivalries and a fan base that loves the TNA stars.
“We cannot wait to expand the TNA audience with our new partner, AMC Networks, which has such a long and storied history of serving passionate and engaged fans across so many shows and franchises, through this new media rights deal.”
Tickets for the first Impact taping for AMC will go on sale on December 11th on tnawrestling.com, with a presale taking place on December 9th.
