The Canadian independent wrestling scene is mourning the loss of a respected veteran, The Great Kasaki
All Star Wrestling Canada announced that Anthony, better known to fans as Great Kasaki, has passed away at the age of 48. The promotion shared the news in a heartfelt statement on social media, paying tribute to a performer who left a lasting impact on those around him.
“ASW is profoundly disheartened to inform our fans that we have lost an ASW legend this week, The Great Kasaki,” the statement read.
The promotion went on to praise Kasaki’s personality and contributions to the wrestling business, highlighting his humour, creativity, passion and mentorship.
“Anthony’s sense of humor, creativity, passion and mentorship skills will not be replicated,” ASW wrote.
