Callum Newman is not letting an injury stop him from participating in the G1 Climax tournament.
Although he didn’t detail what is wrong with his shoulder, he did state the severity: “Shoulder is f—-d thanks yota”

He followed up with: “I’ve got a point to prove. I’ll do the G1 Climax with one arm if I have to.”

Newman appeared to injure his shoulder in his IWGP Heavyweight Championship match against Yota Tsuji at Dominion over the weekend. When he was suplexed, thrown into a corner Newman appeared shaken and hurt for the rest of the match.
The G1 Climax 36 tournament begins on July 11.
