Buff Bagwell made a surprising return to TNA this week, appearing in the Impact Zone for the first time in two decades.
The former WCW and TNA star addressed the crowd during TNA iMPACT, where he was interviewed by Gia Miller. Buff Bagwell used the moment to apologise to fans for his past behaviour and reflect on the challenges he has faced in recent years.
“It’s been tough,” Bagwell said. “I’ve got to apologise to each and every fan… there’s been some ups and some downs, but more downs than ups.”
He also revealed that he underwent a leg amputation on July 10, 2025, describing the experience as devastating. Despite that, Bagwell made it clear he is aiming for one final chapter in the ring.
“If you’ll get behind me just one more time… I will walk down this ramp, I will get in that ring, and I will wrestle for TNA one more time,” he said.
Buff Bagwell’s TNA Return Was Interrupted By Frankie Kazarian & Elijah
The emotional moment was quickly interrupted by Frankie Kazarian, who mocked Buff Bagwell by referencing his old catchphrase. Elijah then stepped in to defend Bagwell, expressing support and saying he would be ready to stand alongside him when the time comes.
Bagwell’s return marks a significant moment after a long and difficult period away from wrestling. Throughout his career, he has dealt with multiple setbacks, including injuries, personal struggles, and legal issues.
Now, with the support of the crowd behind him, Bagwell has set his sights on stepping back into the ring for what could be one final match.
