After a temporary restraining order as lifted, Bubba the Love Sponge’s Hulk Hogan documentary was screened last night.
The Tampa Bay Times reports that Todd Clem (Sponge) was permitted to show the 190-minute documentary “Video Killed the Radio Star” after eight seconds was deleted from its running time.
Hulk Hogan’s son Nick sued Clem on behalf of his father’s estate claiming copyright and trademark infringement blocking the documentaries release.
Brooke Hogan attended the event and said that she forgives Sponge for keeping the DVD although he did not leak it.
“My dad told me all the way back in 2012 that he knew it wasn’t Bubba who leaked the tape,” she said. “I remember asking him why they couldn’t be friends again after their settlement, but it was complicated. It makes me sad to think about it, but at least I can be here now.”
Hogan even hugged Clem and said: “I’m just glad I have my Uncle Bubba back.”
Clem himself told The Times: “I’m just glad it’s finally out there,” he said. “I mean, can you believe, after seeing that, what they got away with?”
