Bronson Reed has offered another encouraging sign that his WWE return may not be far away.
The former WWE NXT North American Champion took to social media this week to share an update from his recovery, while also sending a playful warning to the rest of the WWE roster. Posting on Twitter, Bronson Reed revealed he was training while listening to Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department and joked that his comeback would spell trouble for anyone standing in his way.
“I’m working out listening to The Tortured Poets Department. It really is game over for y’all when I return,” Reed wrote.
While the post was light-hearted, it is the latest indication that the powerhouse continues to make progress in his recovery from a serious arm injury.
Bronson Reed’s Torn Biceps Injury
Bronson Reed has been sidelined since February after suffering a torn distal biceps tendon during a Triple Threat Elimination Chamber qualifying match on Raw involving Jey Uso and El Grande Americano.
The injury occurred when Reed landed awkwardly while attempting to break up a pinfall. Unable to continue, he was forced to exit the match, with Jey Uso eventually securing the victory. The former NXT North American Champion underwent surgery later that month and has spent the past several months rehabilitating the injury.
Earlier this month, Reed also reassured fans following a rear-end collision, confirming that no one was injured and that his WWE recovery remained on schedule. Although WWE has yet to announce a timetable for his return, Reed appears to be firmly within the expected recovery window for the injury.
