Bronson Reed has lost 100 pounds since returning to WWE in 2022.
On the February 23rd edition of Raw, Bronson Reed suffered a distal biceps tear that left him sidelined for most of 2026. During his absence, the Australian star shared a gym picture showing that he had transformed his physique, becoming noticeably leaner and more muscular than fans were accustomed to.
Reed finally returned from the injury at Sunday Night’s Main Event and made his mark by decimating Oba Femi with multiple Tsunamis. After the event, WWE released a vlog showing that the star had “rebuilt himself into a monster.”
During the video, Reed said he had lost 100 pounds over the past few years, explaining that he felt he had to evolve to “keep moving with the times” in WWE.
“By the time I’m back, I’ll probably be around 265 – 270 pounds, and at my heaviest, when I came back to WWE at the end of 2022, I was 365 pounds. So you’re looking at about a 90-100 pound difference since then to now, so in the last three or four years.
“I feel like if you don’t evolve, you die, especially in this business, you have to keep moving with the times. I’m watching wrestling all the time. I think that puts me in the mood to have a target and a goal of what I want to do.”
Bronson Reed Explains His Mindset While Recovering From Injury
Continuing, Bronson Reed said that, while he was recovering from the biceps tear, he was focused on regaining “his spot” when he did return to the ring.
“I even think of it as, ‘Someone’s taken my spot,’ you know what I mean? So, I need to make sure I’m on top of my game. In this business, people will take your spot straight away and that’s just how it is, you have to be prepared for that. So, that’s sort of the mindset.”
Bronson Reed continued his rivalry with Oba Femi on the September 8th episode of Raw when he attacked The Ruler and left him lying after a Tsunami for the second night in a row.
