Bron Breakker is currently out of action after undergoing surgery for a serious hernia.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Daily Update, Bron Breakker recently had the procedure, though there is no timetable for his return.
“Bron Breakker had surgery for a serious hernia. No word on how long he’ll be out,” Meltzer wrote.
The injury provides context to Breakker’s recent on-screen appearances in WWE. He was last involved in the Men’s Royal Rumble match, entering at number two before being attacked by a masked assailant believed to be Seth Rollins. Despite the assault, he entered the ring but was very quickly eliminated by Oba Femi.
On the following episode of WWE Raw, Breakker appeared enraged, tearing apart the ringside area before being ejected from the building by general manager Adam Pearce.
At the time, the segments appeared to be part of a storyline. With the surgery now confirmed, it suggests WWE was writing Breakker off television while he dealt with a legitimate injury.
The timing is notable, as earlier reports indicated Breakker had originally been considered to win the Royal Rumble. Those plans were changed amid adjustments to the WrestleMania 42 card, with Roman Reigns ultimately winning the match and choosing CM Punk as his opponent.
Breakker is now recovering from surgery, with no return date announced.
When Was Bron Breakker’s Last WWE Match?
Bron Breakker last competed inside a WWE ring at the 2026 Royal Rumble event, where he was eliminated after just ten seconds by Oba Femi after he was attacked by a masked man while making his entrance.
Prior to the Rumble Breakker, last competed in an eight-man tag match on the January 30 episode of SmackDown, where he and his fellow Vision members battled to a no-contest against Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Randy Orton, and Sami Zayn.
