Tony Khan has confirmed a late change to the AEW Dynamite card, with Brody King‘s absence affecting the show’s main event.
The AEW president announced that Brody King would not appear on the April 8, 2026, episode of AEW Dynamite due to personal reasons.
In his place, Bandido has been added to the scheduled six-man tag team main event. No further details have been provided regarding the nature of King’s absence.
Brody King To Miss The Go-Home Edition Of AEW Dynamite
The episode serves as the go-home show for AEW Dynasty, which takes place on April 12, 2026, at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia. The event will mark AEW’s first pay-per-view in Vancouver and the third instalment of the Dynasty event.
Brody King is not scheduled to have a match at Dynasty despite him being featured on AEW’s programming as of late and recently having an AEW World Title match against MJF at Grand Slam Australia in February.
