New Orleans Saints’ Brock Rechsteiner is back in the news for all the wrong reasons.
At a joint practice involving the Dallas Cowboys and the New Orleans Saints the son of WWE legend Scott Steiner suplexed Dallas Cowboys safety Jalen Thompson on the field after Cowboys cornerback Caelan Carson grabbed his facemask and trying to pull him to the ground.
It appears that Rechsteiner meant to suplex Carson not Thompson.
It was just one skirmish in what would turn out to be a short-lived but massive brawl in which players from both teams threw punches and helmets at each other.
Cowboys linebacker Donovan Ezeiruaku was thrown out of the practice for punching another player.

Things did settle down so neither coach called off the practice.
For his part, Rechsteiner can participate in practices and exhibition games but has been suspended for the first six games of the season. He broke the league’s performance-enhancing substances policy.
The WWE is interested in working with Brock and signed him to their NIL (Next In Line) program.
“Right now I’m one hundred percent focused on football. Once I’m done football I’m going to get in to it,” Brock told the The Gadsden Times in 2024.
