Oba Femi has made his intentions clear following a chaotic opening to WWE Raw, answering Brock Lesnar‘s open challenge for WrestleMania 42.
Oba Femi stepped up to Brock Lesnar during the show’s opening segment, answering the former champion’s open challenge for WrestleMania 42 in emphatic fashion. After laying out Lesnar with a pop-up powerbomb, Femi stood tall with his foot planted on his opponent and pointed towards the WrestleMania sign, signalling his acceptance.
The segment began with Seth Rollins addressing the crowd alongside a group of masked allies, warning that anyone aligned with Paul Heyman would be targeted. Heyman, previously announced as out indefinitely, then appeared looking dishevelled before revealing Lesnar.
Lesnar stormed the ring and quickly dismantled the masked men surrounding Rollins. As tensions built between Lesnar and Rollins in the ring, Femi emerged, shifting the momentum. Rollins exited, briefly distracting Lesnar, allowing Femi to capitalise and deliver the decisive powerbomb.
Later in the broadcast, WWE confirmed that Lesnar will face Femi at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania 42 Open Challenge
The bout stems from an open challenge issued by Brock Lesnar weeks earlier, when Heyman outlined Lesnar’s schedule heading into WrestleMania and invited any competitor to step forward.
Oba Femi made his main roster debut at the Royal Rumble, where he confronted Lesnar during the match. On that occasion, Lesnar eliminated Femi, setting the stage for their upcoming showdown.
